System1 Recognized as One of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for 2024

WATERLOO, Ont., Nov. 30, 2023 – Employers in KitchenerWaterloo are improving their workplaces and programs for employees thanks to a highly diversified economy that lets them learn from peers in other industries. The best of these stories were highlighted this morning, as Waterloo Area’s Top Employers was announced by Mediacorp Canada Inc., organizers of the annual Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.

System1, an omnichannel customer acquisition marketing platform, is recognized as one of the Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for 2024.

While the Kitchener-Waterloo area is primarily known for its tech sector and renowned post-secondary institutions, the region boasts a tremendously diversified economy. As a result, progressive employers have a ‘bird’s-eye view’ of successful policies and initiatives at other employers in the area, including many in different industries.

“The employers on our list this year have taken stock of the best policies offered to employees in Kitchener-Waterloo regardless of industry,” says Richard Yerema, executive editor of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project at Mediacorp. “They have been active in taking stock of the region’s diversified economy, observing what works in other local industries and adapting them for their own organizations.”
