MapQuest + RoadWarrior

The gig economy is booming and now drivers who use System1’s MapQuest will benefit from new technology to streamline and optimize routes when minutes matter: RoadWarrior.

We are excited to announce that we’ve officially acquired RoadWarrior, a trusted route planner for professional drivers, such as FedEX and gig drivers, who plan, optimize and manage hundreds of stops per day.

MapQuest already has a significant user base who take advantage of its free MapQuest route planning tool.

This is our first acquisition since becoming a public company (NYSE: SST) — A company founded by a wife and husband who will continue work at System1. Their team’s entrepreneurial spirit, drive and domain expertise will only make us stronger.

RoadWarrior App

RoadWarrior’s app, which factors in drop-off priorities, school zones, tolls, one way trips and more, leverages proprietary algorithms to streamline complex routing problems. Many of RoadWarrior’s users include professional drivers and contractors for some of the most well-known delivery brands in the world. These drivers find features including its easy-to-use interface, the ability to sync with manifest files, on-the-fly reordering, delivery check-ins, and custom route options worthwhile additions to their arsenal of tools.

We think it’s really special that the Road Warrior team has built a route planning tool so effective that individual drivers sign up and use it in addition to their company-provided tools. We plan to enhance the product and grow the RoadWarrior user base by bringing MapQuest’s deep suite of B2B APIs and by introducing MapQuest’s long-standing route planner power users to this new premium subscription product. Subscription products are an important part of System1’s growth strategy and RoadWarrior will benefit from the strength of our RAMP customer acquisition platform.
