We are looking to add a Desktop Support Specialist to our team. This person would operate within the DevOps Engineering team, working with both Bellevue and Venice offices


  • Running the help desk
  • Desktop support for Windows, macOS, and Linux
  • Engage in hardware and software lifecycle management tasks
  • Asset and inventory management
  • Enhance IT documentation
  • Handling automation of user onboarding and separation
  • Company wide communication and notifications
  • Learn IT policies and procedures
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Expand knowledge of server and software technology
  • Ensure security patches and upgrades are rolled out
  • Point of contact for vendors and contractors


  • Requires 2 years of IT experience, or 1 year experience and a Bachelor’s degree
  • Familiar with Windows, macOS, and Linux desktop operating systems
  • Experience with scripting and automation
  • Knowledge of desktop imaging software and procedures
  • Interest in security as it applies to Microsoft and Unix technologies

Experience Needed In The Following

  • Troubleshooting desktop tickets
  • Effective communication and issue management with end users
  • Administration of online services such as, Okta, Jira, Confluence, GSuite, Office365, Samanage, OpenVPN
  • Experience with conference hardware and software
  • User hardware provisioning
  • Vendor management
